In August of 2009I took a rock wall climbing class. I loved it. But I had a very difficult time pulling my own body weight up with my fingers. I could only climb the easiest walls. I went on to my local gym and had a trainer convince me to try strength training. I had done years of cardio with little to no results. So I decided to try it. Nine months later with the help of a "Bodybugg" and the unsympathetic push of my trainer I had lost approx 75 lbs and 30% body fat. I also decided to be one a personal trainer. I figured if my lazy butt could do it, maybe I could help others do it too. I know longer classify myself as lazy.
It gives me something I can control. I decide how I want to look. It is my comittment that makes all the difference. Helping others gives me motivation as well. If I can take a very unhealthy body and make it fit, I definitely know that others can too. I hope to always be an inspiration to others.
