I started working out (more so cardio) in 2008. I just wanted to drop a few pounds. Once I began noticing results I kept it up. I've always had an athlethic build from playing sports in high school. A couple of years passed and I started noticing some of the figure competitors who worked out in the facility. I said to myself, "man I want to look like that". I started dating a personal trainer and he started working with me.
I get a lot of questions about why I like to workout. Almost everyday someone looks at me lustily and says âI wish I liked this like you doâ. Did you ever take laxatives in huge amounts? Did you ever feel trapped in your body? Did you ever struggle with depression? Have you ever been picked on and teased? See exercise is my positive answer to all those questions. God knew I needed movement to move my heart, spirit, and body. The gym is a place where I feel like I actually belong. And I prefer dumbbells over dumbassses any day! (lol)
