I have always been an active tomboy type. Football, softball, ice skating, soccer. I liked playing with the boys. In 8th grade I started running track for a summer league. There was a girl on the team who was like state champ in the 100m or something but she had the biggest, most defined legs I had ever seen! Not a twig, but big, strong legs! I knew I'd never be a twig...ever, and I did want to be faster. She inspired me to lift. So I started doing squats in my basement.
I really loved working out! Fast forward to 2007 when I got inspired again. My friend's sister did a Fitness comp the year before and OMGoodness, talk about 1 hot mama. I was set, If she can do it so can I! I'm gonna do a fitness competition. Took those workouts and the diet to a whole different arena!
