Inch by inch is a cinch, yard by yard is hard.
I used to work fast, like the rabbit, now it is slow like the tortoise. But slow and steady wins my race.
In the army with a couple buddies. Best shape of my life.
After a couple knee surgeries and a cpl others,I got into a physical rehab program. That felt so great.
Later I got work sitting behind a desk, and driving a lot. Knees , back and waist line were the first to feel the effects,,ha!
Now I have time energy and surroundings to work on my physical well-being each day. Slow and steady wins the race for me. But the inspiration I am getting lately is a huge help. Thank you!
In the army after getting into my Battalion assignment, I became known as a 'PT' nut,,and 'nature freak',,ha!
Just doing what came naturally,,running in the woods and discovering the local flora and fauna.
I have worked as a logger and tree climber. I love that feeling of hard work.
Can't log or climb anymore. So it is back to the gym. Yay!
I live on the Siletz Indian reservation.
