When I first started college, I always found the time to workout and eat healthy, but by the time I got to my last two years in school things got really hectic trying to juggle class and work. Somehow it always seemed easier to skip the gym and eating healthy to save on time. The funny thing is, I really didn't save any time in the long run because it took me twice as long to lose the weight then it did to put it on! Before I knew it I had gained 80lbs!! I have since graduated and now I am taking the time to get into shape.
A few years ago I started going to the gym and doing P90X, I lost 80 lbs. When I finally got to my goal weight I started doing events like Tough Mudders and Warrior Dash. That's my way of staying motivated year round. I have done two tough mudders now and will complete my second warrior dash next weekend.
I love working out because of the way it makes me feel. There's nothing better than setting a goal for yourself, crushing it, and then starting again.
