When i was younger I was always taller than everyone else, I was also skinnier. I didnt really have any muscle or definition on me, and was tired of being the 'lanky' kid. When i was 13 my dad bought me a pair of dumbells and a curling bar. I started working out about 3 or 4 times a week, doing curls, pushups, pullups and squats. The next summer when i was 14, I joined a local gym. I was instantly hooked, and started going everyday. I learned from bigger guys in the gym how to do certain exercises and they moved me in the right direction. I found bodybuilding.com and learned how to eat and train properly.
I love bodybuilding because it is not like any other sport. It takes control of every aspect of your life and is a 24/7 thing. There are no coaches telling you what to do and how to do things; it takes more determination and will power than any other sport and thats why it's so great. I love leading a healthy lifestyle and seeing the results in the mirror and hearing compliments on my muscles from the people around me. It makes me feel great about myself and to keep working harder. I couldnt imagine a lifestyle that didnt revolve around bodybuilding.
