I have always been active my entire life. I was in dance in school and cheerleading. However I always had a bad misconception in regards to food and eating my entire life. It wasn't until I attended a Phat Camp (Jen Hendershott's Boot Camp) in Tampa, FL in 2008 that my world began to really change. I learned so much and wanted what those woman had...lean, healthy bodies and a realistic journey on how to get it! I started with a 16 week on line program and I am hooked. I am always looking for more knowledge, people who share the excited, pleasure of nutrition and exercise. I am on a life long journey to health and fitness and knowledge is power and you back it up with action its a win, win situation!
Why I Love it
I love the bodybuilding mentality...I do my best when their is a 'vision' or a 'goal' I am trying to achieve in front of me. I get bored easily so bodybuilding is something which in your personal routine you can change all the time and the more the shock your body the better. I love the mental wellness of training as well. I was a single mom for over 7 years and I wish I knew then what I know now or am growing to know....exercise is the key to mental well being and I truly believe the "Fountain of Youth".....I need to find old photos of myself and scan them into the home PC to show ...thru nutrition and exercise...it has 'improved' my overall well-being and appearance! I am excited about the future and the changes yet to come!
