Over the course of two pregnancies I had gained and lost fifty pounds by simply changing my diet, but I didn't achieve the toned and tight physique I was after. By the end of 2010, I was on the heel of four very difficult years. I desperately needed a transformation in my life. I was lost and I felt like crap, and I ran head-first into my a-ha moment. I was just done. Done smoking, done eating crap, done being lazy, done with financial struggle, just over it all. I wanted to change everything. So I kicked the smoking habit and started a weight-training program (rather than just cardio) to prevent myself from gaining weight. Soon thereafter, I started to feel really amazing and I fell in love with making healthy changes. One shift lead to another, and suddenly I found myself in the best shape of my life. Since then I have continued to grow and progress in all aspects of my life and continue setting the bar higher for myself and working toward new goals. The whole experience has led me into a new purpose and career and renewed my passion for life.
I love the way it makes me feel!! It relieves stress, gives me a sense of challenge and accomplishment at the same time, renews my confidence in my physical ability, makes my body hurt in the best way, and is the only way I ever want to start my days. :)
