I started trying to lose weight in May 2010. My friend told me about a program called "Naturally Slim" and of course I assumed it was another gimmick but thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I tried the program and began portioning my meals. I gave up sweet tea and had long given up sodas. I was starting to love eating healthier when the pounds started shedding! Here I am over a year later and 51 pounds of fat lost. I certainly won't just settle for "skinny fat" so I am dedicating these next few weeks to get in shape! Thank God for the 100,000 transformation challenge. This is great motivation! It's about time I finished what I started...
I have more energy now than I've ever had before. I used to absolutely hate working out or doing anything active. Now I have to do something active or I'll get bored. I love being stronger and healthier. I want to be an inspiration to people because at one point I thought the weight would never come off. I proved myself wrong and actually started doing something about it. I want people to look at me and feel hope that they can achieve anything they put their mind to. The fact that I can run longer is awesome! I used to get out of breath going up stairs but now I feel like I can do anything. It's just great and bodybuilding.com has helped me so much.
