I started my new diet and weight training in May 2014, after my wife presented me with a recent picture of myself. I was shocked that I looked so fat. I figured that, at the age of 47, if I didn't do something now, I never would.
With this in mind, I bought myself all of the weight training equipment I needed to get me started, and changed my diet to mainly wholefoods and cut out bread and sugar completely.
I haven't really looked back since.
