When I graduated from college in 2014, I was 255 pounds and the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I was slow, lethargic, and beginning to see some really negative effects of being overweight and out of shape. I set out to change that and dropped down to 195 pounds in about 6 months and was happier than I had been in a long time.
While my weight has fluctuated since then, I've never gotten close to 255 again and I never intend to get close again. I started body building to hold myself to a higher standard and continue sustaining a level of discipline that allows me to not only stay in shape, but keep my goals on track in my personal and professional life as well.
Working out holds me to a standard that parallels with success in all aspects of life. I love the feeling of a good pump and seeing results as I put in work. It is literally the only kind of work that is nearly guaranteed to produce successful results if you do what you are supposed to do. There is no better feeling.
