Like so many people I got started lifting in my undergraduate days in college. The road has been winding with a lot of blind alleys and backtracking, but I think I've finally got a good groove going in terms of my training and nutrition (although there is always more to learn and I try to be humble about that).
Really became aware of how crucial nutrition is for training (whether it be for growing or leaning out) as a result of the 2014 transformation challenge. Tried to bring everything I have learned together for this 2016 #250kChallenge.
The best way to start the day is with a good gym high.... keeps me humming all day long! Bodybuilding gives me such an incredible sense of well-being and personal confidence that I feel I can be more effective in my daily life, not only because of the positive attitude I attribute to my working out, but also to the increased levels of energy I have as a result of being in shape.
A good day starts at the gym :)
