I originally got started with lifting weights 2 months prior to spring break in 2008... After a semester and a half in college i gained like 25 pounds of fat. between partying, smoking, drinking, and being a college freshman, i definitely lost sight of the physique that i once had. In order to prepare for our vacation to panama city i started training like 5 days a week. I ended up loosing like 15 pounds and was at a solid 185lbs. long story short, the vacation went well and then it was off to the air force. Basic training was a breeze. I loved my duties as the dorm chief... during tech school on the other hand, I really had no drive for the gym. between 7 months of classes and pt, I gave up. Then once i got stationed at LUKE AFB AZ, i decided to really get with it. I have was stationed there for 2 years and it has been a battle ever since. between my faled teen marriage, coping with being a father, and work... Stress destroyed me. Well so much for that. I just moved to California!!! A new assignment and a greater outlook on life. So my focus now has solely become the gym... The one thing in life that hasnt let me down yet.
There are so many reasons as to why I love bodybuilding. ITs THE BIGGEST STRESS RELIEVER I currently have in my life right now. Divorced, and being a young father of 2. It helps me clear my mind in more ways than one. Another reason is all the attention. I was the laid back skinny popular kid in high school. and now i have turned into the laid back RIPPED guy in the air force. Its such an amazing feeling to know that all of my hard work is paying off..
