I was talked into it by a friend after getting a job working the front desk at a gym. I didn't want to be out of shape anymore and starving myself to stay skinny. It took some time before I realized it wasn't about being skinny but rather being strong and fit no matter what the scale said.
Why I Love it
Working out helps me de-stress and gives me a break from my monotony. It allows me to be creative when I design my workouts and push myself beyond what I ever thought possible. I have so much more energy now being in better shape but I realize that nothing is ever perfect. I know I have to keep working at it but I am rewarded with small differences here and there that remind me that I am changing- a little at a time.
