Before I get started I want to say that I am happily in a committed relationship with my significant other. We respect each other and I would in no way be disloyal to him and be flattered by inappropriate comments sent on this site. I established my own Bodyspace to share my story and also learn a lot from others with amazing transformation stories as well. Now...here's my story! I have always been a "bigger" girl my whole life, but still played volleyball, basketball, and softball in school. I gained 50 lbs throughout college, and my senior year topped out at 200 lbs. Six months before graduation, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement and knew I had to lose the fat and bulk up. More importantly, I did not want all the guys in my recruit class to outrun or outdo me in push-ups. I lost about 40 lbs in 6 months with good old-fashioned exercise (sometimes cardio twice a day) and eating clean. Since then, I have incorporated lifting weights and maintain my clean eating. I am now at 126 lbs and still counting.
