I began working out middle of last summer. A friend of mine who was an avid cross fitter invited me to start lifting with her. I was a bit intimidated because I had only used the universal machines up until that point, so it was a little out of my element. (To be honest, free weights used to scare me) I've had a few set backs due to illnesses and injury (non workout related), but after this last break I plan on hitting it hard so I start seeing more results. My goal is not only to get stronger but to tone my biggest problem areas... but most of all to love....ME!
I'm a single mother of 2 great daughter's, so when I do get to work out, that's my ME time. It's great stress relief and allows me to work on myself to help boost my confidence (which is lacking). It's a great feeling after an awesome gym session and I hope to stick to it and eventually gain a routine where it becomes part of my life.
