Growing up skinny and being called names, I would always dream about the type of body I wanted to have...but had no idea of how to make that dream become a reality. I woould look at the muscle magazines and drift off in a day dream about looking like some of the guys I saw on the pages. In the 11th grade, I started doing a few push up and lifting just about anything to work out on my arms. It really wasn't enough to get my appetite going. It wasn't untill I got out of the Army before I got really serious about working out. Now I'm addicted to Body Building and feel extremely guilty if I take a day off or have a bad day in the gym.
I love body building because it keeps me focused and always challenging myself to be better. I get out of working out exactly what I put into it...it's my fountain of youth. Body building has become a part of my life style. It set me a part from the average person. I do this not for anyone else, but simply because of the impact it has on my life and well being.
