I was skinny through most of my childhood until I reached about age 15 then all I wanted to do is eat and sports didn't appeal to me. So naturally I blew up like a ballon. For a long time I just thought it was ok to be obese and out shape because everyone in my family was. That was until I reached college and then I begin realizing how out of shape I was I couldn't climb to the 3rd floor with out gasping for air. So I dieted but never exercised and would lose 20-40 pounds and then just put it back on. Then a friend turned me on to running and I feel in love with it and finally got down the diet and exercise thing and was able to lose 70 pounds and keep it off. I ran a marathon before I ever stepped foot in a gym because of the fear of judgingNow I want the aesthetics that I have always dreamed of. I begin working out 2 months ago in the gym trying my own plan and then I realized I had know idea what I was doing.
Why I Love it
I love working out because it creates an escape from my everyday stress. When I am at the gym I forget about all my problems. I don't worry about what assignments are due that week for my Graduate studies or what at work I have to accomplish it just all seems to vanish when I work out. Also I really want abs.
