I'm a huge tomboy (I have been called butch) and I've recently been trying to enjoy that and do everything my younger self wanted to do but was afraid to. So I started getting really into the idea of gaining muscle and going to the gym to channel that masculine energy and just feel stronger and better after a period of depression. So as soon as I finished my first year at university, I realised I needed to bite the bullet and join the local gym to move myself forward. I started doing a full body workout 3x a week in mid June and I've gotten stronger. Now I'm trying out the idea of bulking but I have noooo idea what I'm doing.
Any women in their menswear lifting weights (or any other gender idenitities) wanna talk about that hit me up.
It makes me feel like a badass every time I go into the gym and start lifting. It also generaly makes me feel like I have real control over my life and that I am acheiving things, which really helps my mood, along with the focus that it brings.
