While growing up I was always known as the chunky kid even though I was always active in sports throughout my childhood. There were incidents where I was teased for looking a certain way because of the clothes I had to wear due to my frame. As the years passed I kept gaining weight and finally reality hit when I had people asking if I was pregnant when of course I was not. At that moment I knew I had to make some serious changes. I started my bodybuilding journey after giving birth to my daughter. I had initialy made the mistake of ONLY doing cardio thinking that lifting would make me look like a man. As time passed I noticed that I was losing the pounds but was not getting the shape that I desired. I was able to completely transform my body a few years after starting my journey when I hired a personal trainer to help me start from scratch. Since then I have completely transformed my body from 155lbs down to 125 lbs (size 11 pants-size 2) with alot of muscle weight included.
Why I Love it
I love working out b/c not only is it setting a great example for my daughter but it has increased my self esteem tremendously and is keeping me healthy and strong.
