My dad was a powerlifter and was a big man. I always wanted to be strong as him. I started lifting weights then in Highschool I started competing in powerlifting.

Because it is what I do. I have done it all my life and it is what I am good at. As time has gone on it is not only the joy of training and maintaining my appearence it is somewhat nostalgic to me. I have been doing this for over half my life and the memories that have formed are priceless. Sometimes the familiarity of the gym no matter where it is makes me feel pieceful and like I am home.
