Physical activity has always played a huge role in my life. Once I was done with college sports, I quickly watched my body change. I started looking for something to push and challenge myself. I was used to relying on others to direct me and knew I needed something I could do on my own. Something that would not only keep me fit for a short time period, but force me to become more healthy and fit for now and the future. I had heard about bodybuilding from friends I knew and had always been interested, but not looked into it much. I did some research and hired a trainer to help teach me how to lift and help clean up my diet. After I set a goal to compete, I fell in love with training, eating clean, and the entire lifestyle. That is when I became converted. It has changed my life in the greatest way possible. Itâs the best investment I have ever made.
Why I Love it
Everyone experiences trials in life. As I've experienced lifeâs challenges, physical activity became an outlet for me. I love âthe burn,â pushing myself, body and mind, farther than I did the day before. It gives me such a feeling of accomplishment. Making time to stay fit helps every other aspect of my life. Living a fit and healthy lifestyle gives me more energy which allows me to make better use of my day. Iâm a happier person and a healthier one, too. I've met so many amazing people through being involved, and love having friends who share my same interests.
