I just wanted to change myself for the better. I was just recovering from an eating obsession in which I starved myself from 180 lbs to 125 lbs, and I hated how I looked. When I saw myself in the mirror, I wasn't an overly-skinny teenager...to me, all there was to notice was some fat on the stomach and a disgusting child. Soon, a friend of mine inspired me to work for change, and I've been going at it strong.
Why I Love it
Working out gives me a healthy outlet to release my energy, anger, stress, etc. I also like having control over my lifestyle, and bodybuilding helps to give me that handle. Not to mention it toughens me up so that I can handle a number of hard things in life.
