I began picking up weights in high school just because it was cool. I then began playing football my sophomore year and loved being in the gym and making progress with my lifts. After high school, I continued to weight train at a local gym and a bodybuilder came up to me and told me I should compete. At that moment, I gave him excuses of why I am busy and doing this and that- I was simply making BS excuses for myself. After a while, i started to get really into it and discovered natural bodybuilding >> Oh, thats cool!!!I went to a competition and saw that I can hang with some of the guys on stage. I began training specifically for bodybuilding in September 2007 and entered the INBF Northeast America 2008 and placed 1st in the teens and 4th in the LW class. After that, I was hooked! Now, every moment of time that passes by, I become more and more dedicated to the bodybuilding lifestyle and have been making and still continue to make progress in my physique.
I love the transformation from the start to the finish. I love the discipline, hard work, determination, and perseverance it takes to go through a contest prep. It allows me to apply these attributes to many other aspects in life. The philosophy of bodybuilding is the philosophy of life. Everything you do or don't do that people see or don't see is a refection of your character- EVERYTHING COUNTS! It completely changed my lifestyle to be very goal oriented in any challenge that I encounter. You also tend to appreciate the little things in life that many people take for granted. LASTLY, I LOVE PACKIN ON MUSCLE!!!
