2011, around this time (November), I hired a personal trainer. At the time, I was CLUELESS when it came to eating clean & lifting. I had just started running. I literally had gone from couch to 5k. That's all I had done except for a few months of boot camp 3x's a week and yoga, spin, etc.
My trainer changed my life, educated me, and since then, I have taken the bull by the horns. I have educated myself quite a bit too. She had me on a slightly looser version of a contest prep diet. I lost about 25-30 lbs.
I leaned out quite a bit and my workouts started to suffer. So I switched to Jamie Eason's LIveFit and filled in nicely, once that was over.. I fell off the clean eating and my body went to crap. Although I kept on lifting, I also cut back on cardio.
I've since gotten my focus back. With the combonation of what i've learned from my old trainer, Jamie Eason, and other research i've done, I'm on my way back to fit. I know what to do, know what it takes and now there's nothin to it but to do it!!!
Training is what I LOVE to do! I unplug and plug in!! I love lifting heavy, feeling like a badass. I love breaking a sweat! I love endorphins! I love to run!
It's what makes me feel alive, gives me purpose, freedom, and control.
