Well I don't have an exact reason how I started so I will just list them in no particular order.
1, Clinically depressed due homesickness (Came here in US 6 years ago) Although I went here with my mom I left everyone and everything I had back in the Philippines. Friends, family and relationship.
2. Bored. At that time I was trying to figure out a good hobby that doesn't include drinking, drugs and getting in trouble.
3. Well I was a skinny wimp. They call me little asian.
Well actually before I didn't get the idea why people go to the gym but for what reason, we all going to die anyway. Obviously I was wrong. Weightlifting changed the way I see life, from just looking at it left and right, start and end, born and die. Weightlifting showed me how I should live my life, what matters is in between or how you choose to live it your own way. Gives me motivation on other aspects of life, it supercharges my will and determination to tackle my everyday living. And finally the progress, is just amazing how my body dramatically change and the way I acquired strength that I never thought possible.
