A friend of mine tuk a photo of me 3 mos ago and all I cud see was this skinee fat chik, with skin drooping down from my arms and arse. All that ran thru my mind wen I saw that photo was, ugh... My friend tells me I luk great, but I don't think I do. After I saw that photo, I started doing web searches for exercises, and that's how I found bodybuilding.com. I am on a mission now to change my body. I want to luk better than I looked before I had my 4 children. I have always exercised (aerobics, sit-ups, jogging) but never really LIFTED weights SERIOUSLY. I can't do a chin-up if my life depends on it. I bought a set of dumbbells. I have been doing aerobics and exercising for 8 mos. Been "seriously" lifting, going to the gym, doing squats and lunges since Sept of 08. I've got a long way to go friends.
Thank God for fitness! I have so much energy now, it's amazing! I feel like a new person! It's a mission for me, a battle, a journey, a challenge. I'm a thrill seeker, I love challenges. I'm going to push myself, I want to feel healthy and I want to look healthy. This is something I need to do for myself and for my children.. Simply because they need a healthy Mom.
