I've been active but overweight most of my life. I got into working out with my husband back when we were in highschool. My true sucess began in 1999 when I dropped from 230+lbs to 135lbs of lean muscle.I maintained this for many years until I became pregnant with my son in 2006. I continued to workout throughout my pregnancy but gained a whopping 100lbs. Sadly here we are 6 years later and most of the weight is still on me. From 1999-2006 the gym was like a second home...we would spend anywhere from 2-4 hours a day there. I became a certified trainer and helped others gain success Well the reality is that I can't spend 2-4 hours a day in the gym now. I was also diagnosed with an endocrine disorder that sadly answers part of the question "Why do I struggle so much to lose weight and have to work 10x harder to keep my results?"
What I can do is find time whenever I can to get moving, eat healthy and set a good example for my son. My goal is to be active and healthy!
