I actually began with skating @4, Ballet and Swim team @12, then moved on to a lifetime of competitive volleyball starting at 14. At 18 I added competitive tennis, speed walking, skiing (xc & dh), and recreational biking. Moving ahead, as athleticism increased in popularity, and gyms began to open, I used gym time to offset "downtime" in my athletic schedule. Now, my primary sports are golf and winter hiking, although I still skate - more inline than ice - I love hitting the gym to maintain good cardiac health, and maintain my sleek lines!
Why I Love it
Talk about endorphins! It doesn't take much to get me in the "zone"! Two steps, and my engine is fired up and ready for work!
