I started lifting in my basement and did that for around a year and a half or so with horrible form on most things which resulted in a huge postural discrepency which lead to a major injury to the low back, hip and groin. After recovering 8 months later or so i joined a gym. I used this for only a matter of 3 months until i realized my memebership was up since i couldn't go because of the injury before that. Now after a year of pretty much barely any lifting and eating a horrible junky but calorie full diet ive retained all my mass but also added a good amount of fat. My lifts are the same for the most part (which weren't very good in the first place) and my deadlift/rack pull have went up a good amount for some reason even thought ive only did them a total of maybe 7 times at home and only twice in the gym. Ive only done rack pulls 3 times in the gym as well before my membership was up. This last year or so has been pretty crappy for me so i can't wait to get back into something serious with my knowledge on lifting now because even for the small amount ive done lately, my progress has been great relatively speaking. I came from 155 at 12% BF to the now 195 at 22% BF so i obviously gained SOME muscle as well in this ordeal. Weird.
