I started working out my sophmore year of high school. I found out that my school had a gym and anyone was free to use it after school was over. That same year I joined my local boxing gym. After that I was always into fitness but never stayed completely consistent with any workout or nutrition program, and it began to show. I realized this when I went on vacation at the end of 2010 and after reviewing the pictures decided to make a change and get back into the gym(these pictures are in my progress photos). After I decided I needed to make these changes I found this website and after educating myself through the articles here I joined one of the 12 week challenges sponsored by Optimum Nutrition. After that I did another one, and then another one, and each and every time I saw more improvement both physically and mentally. I have done about 6 of these challenges so far and I am currently doing the Cellucor 6 week challenge, when this one is over I will do another one because one thing that I've learned is consistency is the most important aspect to seeing and feeling results.
Why I Love it
I love the natural high it gives you after a great workout, it's a feeling you really can't compare to anything else. I love the constant battle with yourself to stay on track, stay dedicated, and constantly motivated. There is always a new goal to reach;weather it's your body weight, measurements, a new max, a record timed mile, ect and that's what keeps me going because there is always something more to reach for.
