I began by playing soccer at any early age which gave me an athletic base. Once I was in High School I began to experiment with the weight set and bench that my father had in the basement. As required for athletes playing at my school I took Weighlifting instead of PE all four years. I didnt get serious about it until I joined the Army. I have recently been working out to gain muscle mass I started off around 135 and now maintain around 178-180 and looking to put on more. I also practice parkour which has given me a reason not to step on a treadmill. That plus 4 milers or more three times a week keeps me from adding any type of cardio to my Lifting plan.
I love my job as a US Soldier and part of my duty is keeping myself physically fit and ready for deployment. That and I like to pick things up and put them down...lol. Plus, I have just started playing rugby 7 locally which has given me another focus in the gym.
