Been lifting on and off since my 20's. Started as a way to stay in better shape for my job, but turned into a obsession pretty quick.
Why I Love it
I love being able to push myself beyond limits. Seeing the change in how I look and how I feel. Bonus of proving many people wrong. Coming back from a long battle of mega toxic ulcerative colitis. Lowest point of 120 lbs in a hospital bed without the strength to lift my own body weight. Was told I'd never get back to my old form of 220 lbs at 10% bf. But, I will make that goal.
