I am new to this. It is great to have this forum as a resource for educational purposes in the exercise arena. It seems like there are many members on here. It is great to be motivated to get on a program to do something. I have been actively exercising now for almost 1 year and have noticed a difference in strength, weight loss and overall energy levels. I have been exercising on and off since I was about 16 but never really stayed committed to continuing on a program. The mindset is important. Some folks say okay I want to get to a certain level in "x" amount of days or months or years. Does it stop there?....Well, I once heard a quote that says exercise is not a temporary program that you get on but it is a "lifestyle".
It keeps you committed and aligned with a proper mindset. The whole process is a positive experience. Everybody is at a different level. There is nobody to compete with except yourself. Staying in tuned to your mind, body and soul.
