I started working out when I was a kid with my dad who was into body building. I was a small for my age so my dad wanted to help me build muscle and confidence. I lifted a bit in high school for football since I was a 100 pound freshman. I started again when I joined the air force. I was 145 when I joined and now I'm 175 give or take 5 pounds. I've been in for over 12 years. I now work out regularly after catching the bug when I was deployed to a boring ass place and I stay active with ice hockey and other miscellaneous sports.
Why I Love it
I like the satisfaction of seeing results and it is a great stress relief. There are tangible benefits of living an active lifestyle. I love the pump. I love the feeling when you reach a personal best and I love getting those couple extra reps at the end when you don't think you can do any more.
