Older step brothers pushed me to do situps and pushups back when I was a little kid 9-10 years old. Started curling my Mom's plastic cement filled 5.5lb dumb bell up to 200 times on each arm. If it started to burn doing a particular motion with that dumb bell I kept doing it until i could do it 200 times (tri ext, shoulder press, front raises, etc.)Got my first weight set at 13 and lifted in front of pictures of Dorian, Flex Wheeler, and Arnold at night in my room. Football came and I put on 15lbs of muscles during off-season circuit training with the team. Rarely lifted in College...sucks! When I turned 25 I woke up in bed and stared at the ceiling for about an hour and declared to the world and myself that I would be a pro bodybuilder in 10 years. I would be nationally qualified in five years; I beat that goal by two years winning my weight class at the Ronnie Coleman Classic in 2009.
