Since I was a little girl, I was always an active person. I was a "stick", as my relatives would call it, growing up and ran and played quite a bit. I even won an award in my elementary school class for fastest girl in the CITY! It was in the news paper and everything. Many even thought I would run track. But, after being told to do so, I never did it out of annoyance from so many people. It was not my dream to do so anyway.
But, I have been working out, off and on, since 1997. I workout through dancing. I was never a fan of lifting or exercising, for that matter. But, I love dancing as I took tap and jazz when I was much younger from the age of 2 to 5 and I loved every moment of it!
I love dancing. It was something I knew I could dedicate myself to even more with the right motivation and support. Dancing is also something that I never felt was exercising. To this day, I would dance with the intention to workout for 30 minutes. Before I know it, 2hrs have passed. I love when that happens!
