I got started because of basketball, but I never had a set workout, I would do random stuff and never really accomplished much. I was over weight and simply coudln't stand it anymore. Then I decided to get serious about getting in shape which I quickly found out meant more than running and eating kinda healthy. Luckily I found Bodybuilding.com. I was browsing and found an article on Kelechi Opara and i realized if I commit and even come close to the effort Kelechi puts in that I can transform my body. And so here I am workin' hard to transform my body and eating healthy. So far i'm feeling great and look forward to working hard every day i'm @ the gym.
Why I Love it
I think anyone who works out knows the feeling of being dead tired after a hard workout, but at the same time feeling totally energized and alive!! I honestly enjoy lifting and pushing my body every day. I like the way I feel after running and have come to love it as well as lifting.. I don't think i will ever be able to stop running and working out (good thing of course). Any problems in life or frustrations melt away when i'm at the gym. To push myself and get in "The Zone" is the best feeling ever!
