I was always pretty active growing up but certainly didn't know my way around a gym. I started working for Bodybuilding.com a few years back and got my first exposure to the fitness world. I struggled with being chubby through my teen years and I finally figured out that I was in control of that. I decided to get a gym membership and start putting in time on losing a little weight. I have tried to keep at it and it has been very tough at times and I feel like I am finally in the groove I needed to be in and the results just keep coming.
I love being comfortable with how I look. I like the thought of bettering myself and living a healthy lifestyle. You cant beat the feeling you have when you are full of energy and ready to take on the world. I have started to notice that all of my thoughts and daily worries go to the back of my mind when I am working out and it's almost therapeutic to focus on training and not on worries.
