How I Started:
I have done martial arts almost all of my life. A friend of mine told me that I should incorporate bodybuilding to enhance my power and physique. He was by far the biggest guy I had ever met in person. I used to be at ahh watching him workout in the gym. Eventually he started to guide my nutrition and workouts and now I am hooked.
Why I Love It:
I really love to workout. I love the feeling I get when I am totally pumped. I love to be able to sculpture my body. It is really cool process to me. I also love the power I have developed in my martial arts by working out. Oh...and haveing a nice physique is always a plus!
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation comes from what I see. If I see steady progress than I am motivated to do more. I am also a workout addict. I was injured recently and had to stop working out for a few months and it drove me crazy. I am totally hooked on the gym.
BB Accomplishments:
My major bodybuilding accomplishmets have been finally bench pressing 405lbs for six reps. Also, finally building my legs. They are not where I want them to be yet but they are getting close.

I am trying to get down to about 7% body fat and put two inches on my legs and one inch on my calves. I also would like to cut up my entire body.
Goal (Long):
I have always been a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger. During his prime his body was awesome. That is what I strive for. I am around the same height as he was back then and I posses the same body type. I have used his workouts, read his books and watch pumping iron more than I can count for motivation. Right now I am between 250-240lbs. My body fat ranges between 11-9%. I don't think I look bad right now but I am definitely not where I want to be. I want a shredded abdominal area. I have been working hard on my nutrition for this and have recently started taking Hydroxycut. I want bigger legs and calves. I know us black guys have a hard time building calves and I read that Arnold had a hard time building them as well. I have really been concentration on them and have started to show dramatic improvements. I hope with the new workout I got out of April 2009's Flex magazine and my total dedication I will reach this goal with in a 12-24 month deadline.

doing good with my goals. Slowly but surely i'll get there. i dont wanna do anything drastic that i know i wont keep up with when i get back to the states. slow and steady wins the race right?
That's cool.. If you check out my body blog you can see the artile I did for the last show. It's so nice that they have oppurtunities like that in the desert.
I didn't I found out about the show too late. I know it's actually affiliated though, or is that the one in Camp Liberty. It's awesome that they do stuff out there while deployed though. There's a show in Taji on the 24th.
