How I Started:
Got started years ago when I first began lo-carbing. Have always been athletic, now that my kids are grown I have time to take a little better care of me.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel better & look better.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing my husbands reactions to the changes, having my 18yo to workout with, seeing the results, knowing I'm making myself healthier.
BB Accomplishments:
I've got another major acomplishment(wow didn't think I'd have to many of these to write about) I was able to shop entirely in the misses and juniors departments this past weekend(12/12/09)now no not everything I tried on fit, there was one shirt I really liked that just wasn't happening but that's cool I had plenty of other shirts to choose from and everything I bought was just a normal size, no w's or plus sizes, it was really amazing, can't wait for my next acomplishment, hope it's making my goal on the 31st*********************
Ok something new to post, Sunday, just for grins, I decided to try on my school ring, it's the first time I've been able to put it on my ring finger(the one my parents bought it for)in over 20 years, I've had to roll band-aids around my wedding ring to keep it from falling off but didn't think I'd lost enough to get into my school ring... sweet!!!************
***Well, I thought this posted the other day, guess not. My first major acomplishment, I got to buy size 16W jeans, thats down 2 more sizes, I'll post some pics as soon as I can get some.

This is pretty close to what I looked like when I started, I didn't allow to many pics to be taken, I had to be well over 300lbs. at that point, don't know for sure cause I stayed away from scales as well as cameras.
This is me trying on clothes from the misses dept, no w's no plus sizes, just normal sizing. The jeans are a 13 and the shirt is actually a juniors large.

Goal (Long):
To get the weight off, for good, and shred whats left. I really don't care where the numbers fall in the end as long as I'm in good shape and feel good.
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
it's something that my youngest(18yo) son and I have in common, we enjoy working out together and he really helps to keep me motivated.

He gets aggravated at me over my taking my lifestyle to an "extreme" but he likes the results, a lot! Hey Zeeeva have you ever tried taking expel. I use it for like three days or so before my weight checks cause otherwise i know my weight isn't close to my actual weight by like 5lbs or so. My min pin wakes me up every time he has to go, it's like having a baby, and so i end up taking a big gulp or two of water at least two or three times a night and by the time i wake up 16oz. are gone so i wake up full of water.
I had a great christmas; everything went very well! I am happy to hear that your still at it and focusing on the "progress not perfection" idea! I can't wait to see how much further your going to go Zeeeva!

Zeeva your pics look good so stop being so hard on yourself. Keep going little by little and your going to get to a point where you are going to be really happy. I am doing great. Tomorrow is my weigh in for my personal challenge. I am just going to make my weight!!!
I know what you mean! Shopping is so much more fun now! I consider it "rewards" for every size I drop, though I have to control it too...maxing out those cards lol!
