Overall Goal: My goal is to lose 50 pounds of fat within one year and keep the muscle that I currently have. I want to compete sometime next year (Jay Cutler's New England show in May maybe), but I'm still trying to decide between BBing and figure.

How I Started:
I've been training off and on for 12 years now. I started because I was always "chubby" and wanted to look good in high school. I got certified to teach aerobics when I was 17 and did that for a year and a half. Then when I went to college, I yo yo'd up and down for the next 8 years. I got real heavy in 2003 and lost 40 lbs over the course of about 6 months. I trained religiously twice a day back then. Then I had my daughter in 2/06 and I never lost the baby weight and kept gaining again. I'm determined to lose it for good this time around because I'm not getting any younger!
Why I Love It:
I love watching my body. I love feeling powerful. I love accomplishing goals and building my confidence. I love being a role model for my daughter. I love the burn!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures in BBing and fitness magazines (Oxygen in particular). I look at my pictures from 2004 & 2005 when I was in good shape and lost a lot of weight before so that I can keep reminding myself that I did it before.

Goal (Long):
I've always been "the chubby one". I've battled eating disorders in my late teens, so I have been "skinny" once, but definitely not healthy. I also lost 45 pounds once 3.5-4 yrs ago and go in good shape, but I didn't hit my goal and I never competed (my ultimate goal). I want to have a 6 pack and 11-12% body fat. I want to wear a size 4/6. I want to do this within the next 12 months and prove to myself that having a child is and a FT job not an excuse!
Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
Monica Brant has been my role model since 1995. I've always loved her physique, it's the ultimate in my opinion. After meeting her a few times and reading her interviews, she's also incredibly sweet, down to earth, smart, and a savy businesswoman. What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Madonna is ripped and in great shape for someone over 40. Also, Jessica Biehl and Fergie are in good shape (and my husband loves them, so I guess he'd like if I looked like them!).

Had a great ego day yesturday. When to SIX FLAG did not where a shirt in the water park. In the past I would where one to cover up but not this time. I had a little tan NO man BOOBS no gut and some muscle to show. That was a great ego boost. I also tooking in 2 protein bars so I would not have to eat fried food all day, yes i know alittle weird but all this hard work and to eat fried food and feel like **** the next day. I don't think so
