Full time Pre-Med student at the University Of Colorado at Denver
Personal Website:
Gym:
24 hr fitness and recreational centers
Gym Location:
Aurora/Denver
When I Started:
Jun, 2001
How I Started:
I was inspired by a friend who was a trainer at my gym where i first started working out. I admired the dedication and discipline required for the sport and thats where my journey begun.
Why I Love It:
I love the dedication required, the discipline needed, and the fact that you are responsible for pushing yourself and meeting your goals. There is no team you can blaim, no ref, no coach! Its up to you to be educated, be strong, and stay the course!
How I Stay Motivated:
Everyday is a day for me to grow! I love watching video clips of the pro's on youtube or whatever site, of these guys pumpin iron and throwing around heavy weights, it motivates me because i want to meet and exceed where there at! I am also the eldest of my brothers so i try and set a high standard for them and keep my family proud.
BB Accomplishments:
1st place in the Mens Open Middleweight at the NPC Cyto charge Rocky Mountain Nationals bodybuilding Championships. It was my first bodybuilding comp. And I only had 4.5 weeks to prepare since i decided to enter at the last minute.
Placed in the top 10 at the USA national bodybuilding championships!

Yusef - amazing physique you presented at the Colorado State. None of your online photos come close to doing you justice. You are an amazing competitor with a great future in the sport. Congratulations my friend.
Yusef -- best wishes to you in your final prep for the Colorado State! I'm nearing the end myself and excited about the show. It looks like the competition will be fantastic. I'll be a heavy middleweight this year. See you backstage... and again, best of luck to you.
I'm staying with the middleweight class, I need a lot more muscle to hang with you guys, but I believe that at middleweight I can do pretty good, the show is going to be a preparation for more in the year to come, so I may not be peaking, but close to it. Good luck bro'
What up dude. I got my page set up. Im still training with rick and in 2 weeks we're going to really start hitting it. He's going to put me on a 12 week phase and then 20 weeks for the show. So i cant wait to see what happens. Dude your pics look great cant wait for your next show.
