One of my friends loves bodybuilding and his goal is to be featured on the cover of Muscle & Fitness. After having been a competitive distance running athlete for six years I decided it was time to put just a little bit of weight and strength on my frame and started working out with him.

I want to be able to fill out my shirt sleeves better by building arms then shoulders. I have other goals with bodybuilding but I'm breaking it down in stages.
Goal (Long):
I've been a competitive distance runner for six years and have pretty much ignored building up my upper body, it's practically useless when it comes to muscular strength. I'd like to build some muscles mass and strength but still run at the level that I currently do now.

I want to GAIN 9 lb
