Background

When I Started: Mar 2010
HOW I STARTED:

I just wanted my body to look better, cut the fat and add some muscle. As time went on I started really appreciating the work and effort put into bodybuilding, and I hope to get big one day.

WHY I LOVE IT:

The pump, the energy exerted, the strength, the dedication...

Ivankannan I am not bothering to do squats everytime I go in. I used to do that during SS, but now that I am concentrating on upper body, squats are taking a hit. I did 180lbs back squat last time (though my max used to be 205lbs).. Jul 3, 2011 7:18am

Ivankannan I am doing ok bro, just that i don't visit bb.com.. I am doing a mix of ss and whatever I like! I think I will take a look at your pyramid workout for bench. mikill hehe.. i wish, that photo is not exactly the latest, School really took its toll on me this year (still got visible abs thought), so i`ll spend all summer cutting, anyhows i`ve got more muscle than last year and planning on further improving my cutting nutritional plan so by the end of summer i should be better than that picture.Workouts are a bit fussy for me, procrastination gets the better of me and i end up not even going. Ivankannan So how much are you benching these days? (and what was your maximum?). I hit 120lbs yesterday (in SS), last time that was my max (3x5). I hope this time I break the barrier! I do a lot of flys though! Mar 29, 2011 11:40pm

Ivankannan Of course I am still lifting! :D :) but not regularly. As I had mentioned, I had some problems with cortisol.. so have been taking destressing out and eating very clean etc. Went gluten free and almost paleo and things are much better now. Starting to slowly bulk up.. Well I am around 137lbs now but my lifts are almost the same as it was 20lbs heavier! Mar 18, 2011 5:42pm

Ivankannan Pretty bad actually. I realized that I have had high Cortisol all this time and so taking time to fix it first. I have had so many other bad parameters like ****ty sleep etc so fixing all of them one by one before I will bulk again, otherwise weight gain is virtually fat gain.. How is it at your end? Ivankannan Yeah had done 205lb Squats for 5 reps each in 3 sets. Somehow I am having trouble in my elbow due to low back squats and so I am squatting 185lbs now. Will probably do front squats for sometime.. and its time to concentrate on bench.. Oct 6, 2010 11:01pm
