When I Started:
Jan, 2007
How I Started:
5 years ago, I was overweight. I was sick of feeling sorry for myself and decided to do something about it before things could get out of hand. Slowly but surely I started running and dieting and lost the weight. 20 weeks ago, my company had an in house contest of which my hard work paid off! After 16 weeks of intense training, I fell in love with the lifestyle! I want to continue to compete!
Why I Love It:
It feels so good to be strong and healthy. I love bodybuilding/figure/fitness because of the intensity. There is such dedication and sacrifice needed to build an optimal physique.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have a picture of what I used to look like that I use for reference. When I need inspiration, I look at that!
I also think about the future. When I'm older, I want to be healthy and active and full of life and energy. Staying inert won't help me with that!
BB Accomplishments:
I just won 1st place at a figure competition!

To place in the top three at the OPA Level II this year (first I got to win level I). I need more trophies!
Goal (Long):
I'd really love to go pro but know there is a long road ahead. I'd like to build more muscle while maintaining a lean, mean, and hard physique!
I definitely need to work on my v-taper and gain some size in my shoulders.
A colleague of mine was directing a video shoot recently and told the athlete to say something along the lines of "Now its time to get down to business". I thought this was hysterical and cliche at first, but then I realized that it is time to get down to business. Thats...
Hey xprisx, how are you today? How are things inyour part of the world? Raining cats and dogs, STILL, in my part. Hope the training is going well. The 5 Point Exploding Heart Technique is a DEADLY MARTIAL ARTS MOVE.
Hey, thanks for accepting my add request. The show I am planning on is the Natural Illinois and Great Northern Classic - an NANBF show. Good luck getting your trophies!
I wish you much success in achieving your goals. Challenge yourself to be the best that you can be, nothing more but nothing less and you will reap the rewards of all your hard work. Smile, and enjoy the journey. I look forward to watching you progress in ’08.
Hi. Thanks for your note. I have been ibncreasing weight as I progress. So I was glad to hear your suggestion. I just need to keep going and try to preserve as much muscle as possible. Shoulders tonight so I'll work on rear delts especially. Wish me luck!!
