I first started dieting to lose weight (I was 165 lbs) when I remet my ex boyfriend.. he was so fat when we were younger! When I saw him he looked great!
SO i stopped eating carbs TOTALLY.. i lost some of my weight in a pretty unhealthy way.. just eating hamburger patties and drinking water i lost 30 lbs in just two months.. and i wasn't exercising.
I really started working out because of my boyfriend now. He looks great and is in great shape and he knows a great amount about dieting/exercising.
And no guy should have a fat girlfriend!
Why I Love It:
It really makes me feel great after working out and i love the fact that I'm losing fat and slowly gaining muscle.
How I Stay Motivated:
My boyfriend and also seeing my family.
Most of my family is obese and I really don't want to go down that road! Even I was obese at one point in my life! I never want to feel that unhealthy or look that unhealthy ever again

Goal (Long):
I was obese almost ALL of my teen years. My highest weight was 165 lbs on a 5 ft frame! I looked horrible and I felt horrible. I could hardly walk without getting out of breath. At first I went on a ridiculous "diet". Ate nothing but burger patties and drank water. Now I eat a low carb diet with veggies. I want to finally have a flat stomach and a toned body! I want to finally fit into a bikini!
Thats my goal to be in a bikini by this summer and look AMAZING!
Any suggestions to help lose weight and tone up my body is welcome! thanks

I was always in great shape but let myself go driving long haul truck for almost 4 yrs... I only had to find my old self under those layers of fat and kick my ass into gear and where mind went body followed!!
You came a loong way too! I hope you take it all in and walk tall cuz you did it!!

I got the same problem. Once I get close to my goal, I start to feel "invincible", like the rules don't apply to me and it all goes to hell. It's hard for me to get back going sometimes.
Glad to hear you got your diet down. I was just worried cause I've seen some absolutely horrible diets that people have posted on here.

I read your story..and i like you did many ridiculous "diets" but soon they just took me over and i didn't see food anymore..isaw cals/numbers/and fat grams.. lame i know. You look beautiful always remember that!:) I wish you the absolute best on this journey of yours:)

as far as the machines go.
it depends on what you are looking for
lower weight with higher reps will give the nice toned look
but heavier weight and lower reps, like 6 - 8 reps will stimulate growth

Well you look great even at your current weight! Good luck with your additional weightloss. You've already done great with losing from 165 to current, so I'm sure yo'll be able to manage losing those few additional.
I'm on a very odd diet lol. I'm 5' 3" and have the same tummy issue. So frustrating cuz I always think "i'm not THAT old yet... how did this happen?... how did i LET this happen"

thank you,as for now i am gonna try to go 75 gms for three days,and on the 4th day i will double it.I was low carbing to the extreme of 30 gms tops to zero carbs a day,and it did work for the first two weeks,but after that my metabolism crashed,so i need to go back to normal.Hope this helps.
Hey, awesome job on the weightloss, you look fantastic. Are you looking to lose more or just maintain? Or are you gonna bulk up into a huge bodybuilder? :p
