My mom had light dumbells, I started using them and eventually it was too light. I then searched online about how much a female should lift, because I used to believed the common myth that a female will get huge if she lifts weights, especially heavy weights. I found bodybuilding.com, saw pictures of fitness models and I said to myself, that's what I want to look like.
Why I Love It:
It's a hobby. Feeling sore the next day, makes me feel like I acomplished something.I feel like the muscle I've gained has helped me stand up a little straighter and taller, instead of slouching like I used to.
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror...
When I'm mad or upset it's easier to go lift some weights and go running, instead of taking it out on somebody, or saying something I'll regret later.

I want to lose fat and get rid of the "soft", no definition look. I want to be lean, strong and hard!
Goal (Long):
I want to gain muscle and be somebodys dream! haha. I don't want people to say "oh you look fine, you don't need to lose weight or "tone"! I want people to say "wow, you look amazing, how do you keep in such great shape!?!". I'd also like to prove people wrong who think I'm worthless, or don't think I'm very attractive, and make me feel that way.I want to look like a female action figure. Most of all I'd like to prove my own self wrong!

I stopped doing my workouts for two weeks straight. I still weigh the same, infact I lost 5 pounds, but I think that was water-weight. I'm starting the excersize plan again. See how that goes.

I don't really have access to a gym. So I use what I have.
For my upperbody I use dumbells.
For my lower body I use a barbell.
I had to start lifting really light weights because I had lost so much muscle. I started with two and a half pounds, and I worked my way up. Now I don't lift...
