Originally, I was nearly 280lbs with God knows how much bodyfat. I played football in 8th grade and was injured, which put me out of the season for that year. The next year, my freshman year in high school, I played again, and the previous injury came back, plus a few more. (The injuries being in my right shoulder, neck, and the original injury in my lower back. I don't know exactly what was wrong, I just went to the doctor, got the diagnosis, and did what the doctors and my parents said.) After the second series of injuries, I was put into physical therapy to recover. That lasted nearly a year until the course ended. Throughout the process of my physical therapy, I had lost a good amount of weight. And I liked it. Before that all happened, I played video games constantly and the rest of the day was stagnant. I decided to put down the game controller for good after seeing the weight loss and took up body boarding in the ocean for a good part of my day to increase my activity. Along with the body boarding and physical therapy, my therapist had me lift in the gym down stairs from the therapy center to help strengthen the traumatized body parts. After the therapy was done with, I decided to keep active. I didn't do anymore school sports, but I stayed with the body boarding and progressively went to the gym more and more. Eventually, the lifting in the gym was the only thing I did, dropping body boarding because I didn't have the time for it. My mom bought me a three month membership to the gym, and ever since then I was hooked. That was nearly two years ago. My overall results were that I went from nearly 280lbs to 185lbs with about 8% body fat. From there, I set a goal to get to 210. That took a while, because I kept my cardio and nutrition wise, and didn't even gain a pound of bodyfat. Bodybuilding/working out has become my life.
Why I Love It:
It saved my life.

xfreakxchanged Weight from 230 lbs. to 220 lbs., a 10 lb. loss in 101 days
Currently, my main goals are to bench 2x my bodyweight, squat 2.5x my bodyweight, and 3x deadlift my bodyweight. I'd also like to establish some records before I turn 18, and compete in a bodybuilding show this coming December.
Tell tommy to quite being sucha pussy! lol, I'm going to be home for Thanksgiving but just for like 2 days and then leaving..Maybe December?? Cushings is when a small tumor is on your adrenals or pituitary gland and it is causing your body to produce LOTS of cortisol.. removal of the tumor is the cure. I'm not sure if thats what i have or not, but my symptoms are fitting it! We'll see what the dr says on Monday!! :)
VERY cool about gaining the 7lbs and being super lean! O I got the phone call from the DR and they said that both my tests came back abnormal, so i have to meet w/ the endo and go from there.. Could be Cushings, thats what he mentioned in the apt last week. So monday is my next apt. Glad they are getting to the bottom of it. I LOVE THE GYM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! :)
