I was always small in high school. I wrestled anywhere from 102 lbs. to 125 lbs. Once in college I decided I didn't want to be small anymore. I started lifting weights, weighing in at 150 lbs. My first serious goal was training for cheerleading tryouts at UNCC.
Why I Love It:
I love pushing myself to see what I can accomplish. Working out not only makes me look better but also makes me feel better both physically and mentally.
My diet is regular and good but it could stand improvement. (update 22 OCT 2009) past three months I've dialed in my diet but still needs some improvement.
Need to stay focused and consistent with Cardio to help shed fat.
I need to consider additional supplements besides BCAA, Protein, and Creatine.

I used to loathe running. I would rather have done MMA training with Randy Coutoure for eight hours rather than run. I would gladly mow the lawn, rake leaves, or wrestle a rabid bear than spend my time running. But over the last few weeks that has changed.

Why don't you try a "real" gym in Huntersville (one that isn't going bankrupt as well)? Elite Fitness rocks...totally motivating group of people. The low-carb air is addicting with everyone prepping for the state and metrolina shows! Tell them you are an FOA (friend of Anita) and they will give you at least a week or two free. Good luck with the diet...or should I say lifestyle!?
